Writing an Ebook

Writers of ebooks come in all ages and today have the opportunity to get their work out quickly.  Sites like Amazon, Smashwords and booksellers around the world are interested in the ebook and the self published writer.

It didn't used to be this way. For someone who studied and earned a journalism degree, I practiced my writing in the dark hours of the night after work and putting babies to bed. In those days, longer works were expected and rejections were more common.

Success used to be a slow agonizing milestone.

Now, you can almost guarantee your own success.  Fear is the only thing holding you back. Ebooks on how to get started, what to write about and information about improving your writing, whether it is fiction or non-fiction are all affordable and in ebook's quick download form.

My own biggest holdout to getting published was the book cover. Costs were high in the beginning. Now, thanks to Fiver.com and many other graphic artists competing for my cover, I have been able to outsource the covers and gain time for what I truly love, to write.
